HILLARY ONCE SUGGESTED OBAMA’S ASSASSINATION
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump suggested on Tuesday that gun rights activists could act to stop Hillary Clinton from nominating liberal U.S. Supreme Court justices by coming out to the polls and supporting Trump.
His comments caused the liberal media to go crazy and Clinton even took to Twitter writing, “A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way.”
However, it seems a bit hypocritical for Clinton to go after Trump for his statements when she was also once accused of inciting an assassination against her 2008 primary opponent Barack Obama.
The New York Post reported at the time:
WASHINGTON – Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday brought up the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy while defending her decision to stay in the race against Barack Obama – drawing a furious reaction from the front-runner’s camp.
“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it,” she said, dismissing calls to drop out.
Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton rebuked Clinton, saying her remark was “unfortunate and has no place in this campaign.”
Any comments about assassination and the primary contest are especially sensitive because Obama is the first African-American to advance so far in the race for the White House and he has faced threats, congressional sources have said.
Obama’s own running mate Joe Biden even suggested an Obama assassination after claims were made that Obama had intentions to abolish the Second Amendment once elected:
“I guarantee you, Barack Obama ain’t taking my shotguns, so don’t buy that malarkey,” said Biden. “They’re going to start peddling that to you. I got two, if he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem.”
