STEIN/BARAKA HEADQUARTERS URGENT REMINDER! DONATE TO HELP WITH THEVICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE TONIGHT! Dear James,
Our campaign is committed to achieving another social media win for Ajamu Baraka tonight at Longwood University in Virginia at 9pm ET. Jill and Ajamu's ticket went up by a full point after our livestream of Jill during the Presidential Debates last week. We can gain even more ground by supporting Ajamu tonight!
YES! I want to support Ajamu in the debates!
So this is a reminder that we need your help for tonight's Vice Presidential debates, by again taking it to the “people’s airwaves”, social media. Try as they might, the Democrats, Republicans, and the sham Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) can't keep us out oftonight's Vice Presidential Debate because they can’t (yet) control the free speech airwaves of social media and the Internet!
Democracy Now! (the premier source of non-corporately filtered news, information and analysis) is going to insert Ajamu Baraka directly into the debate! He’ll be able to take on Kaine and Pence in real-time!
Plus this will broadcast over Free Speech TV, Link TV, as well as live streaming available directly on our website. We will freeze the feed to give Ajamu time to answer the same questions posed to the two corporate party candidates during the actual debate.
However, this is going to be expensive - well over $35,000 between the technology, travel costs, the website, and all the infrastructure.
But it will be well worth our costs because Ajamu is going to mesmerize the nation by providing bold new answers to our biggest challenges. Instead of trading insults and trying to create “gotcha” moments of personal assassination, Ajamu will answer whatever is asked from a truly revolutionary, Green perspective!
I want to donate and support Ajamu in the VP debate right now!
We need your help today. The Vice Presidential online debate tonight will cost the campaign over $35,000.
Again, Jill's polling numbers went up a full point to 4% after our livestream of her during the Presidential Debates. That translates to almost a million people. Promoting these debates is expensive but also very EFFECTIVE!
Our social media results from Jill’s debate on Monday at Hofstra were just phenomenal. It was the highest amount of social media exposure Jill has ever gotten.
Facebook - we got over 1 million views; 4.3 million reached Twitter - there were 2.8 million impressions 9/26; 7.6 million impressions 9/27 RT America (re-post of our livestream) - 100,000 views; 800,000 reached Total number of impressions - approximately 15 million She was also trending #1 on google searches for “How do I vote for Jill Stein.” See chart to the right.
We did this not because of corporate media, but in spite of it - and we want to replicate this for Jill at the debates in St. Louis on Oct 9 and Las Vegas Oct 19.
With your help, we can continue to present the “out-of-the-box” solutions that have already received mainstream support.
With only 34 days left before the election, it’s critical right now that we gain even more exposure. We are spreading the word, putting forth our common sense ideas and our message of change, of hope, and integrity, and by doing so, we’re increasing Jill and Ajamu’s polling numbers even further.
Voters are very disillusioned with the two major candidates and their running mates. A recent poll revealed that 74% of Americans wanted the alternative parties in the debates. The corporate media is conspiring to shut us out. But thanks to you, we are forcing our way in!
Please give generously today and don't forget to log into Facebook and watch Democracy Now! tonight to see Ajamu debate live.
As Ajamu and Jill say, “We can build this new world. It's not in our hopes. It’s not in our dreams. It's in our hands.”

P.S. Remember, the Vice Presidential Debate will be broadcast live starting at 9PM Eastern TONIGHT. Log ontoDemocracy Now!’s Facebook page to watch Ajamu's responses to debate moderator Elaine Quijano's questions. And please give generously to cover the costs of our livestream event.
P.P.S. Help us support Ajamu in today's Vice Presidential debate by giving now. During the debate, Ajamu will talk about the campaign's platform which includes the Green New Deal, the bold initiative that will create 20 million good jobs and combat climate change. Along with universal health care, abolishing student debt, an end to police violence, support for Black Lives Matter and an end to institutional racism, putting an end to American military imperialism and so much more!
