Mexicans burn Donald Trump effigies as Judas for Easter ritual

This Easter, Mexicans are burning an effigy of Donald Trump in a ritual called the “Burning of Judas Festival.” The Washington Post interviewed Leonardo Linares, a 52-year-old artist who built a Trump effigy over the past week in his Mexico City studio. He says Trump is a real danger for Latinos in Mexico and in the US. His neighbor, built a likeness of a Mexican drug lord riding an airplane while carrying Trump’s severed head in his hand. Linares says with Trump as president, the U.S. will lose respectability in the world.
